No regrets…

Wow, am I bad at this blogging thing!  I must have forgotten about this site, since I haven’t posted since January :/ Well, it’s been a very busy 4 months… birthdays, playdates, parties, field trips, Saints, CC Cycle 3 completion, curriculum research, convention trip planning, blah, blah, blah… lots of stuff going on around here!  Yes, it’s been busy, but it’s been wonderful!  Wouldn’t trade having my babies home for the world!!  When things get crazy and I feel like I’m losing my mind (yep, every other day), I remember something I read a while back, “You’ll never regret the time you spent with your children.”  So powerful and so true!  I can’t imagine not having this time with them. They grow so fast, and I’m thankful that I get to be a part of all of it!

Our last semester of Classical Conversations flew by!  We wrapped it up with an awards ceremony, where our kiddos were presented with a certificate of completion for all their hard work.  We also received our gorgeous yearbooks – what a treasure!!  After the awards, we headed outside for a really fun field day.  Our community’s director and tutors did an amazing job!  We had a blast 🙂  And, after that we went to our favorite ice cream place (for more sugar!) with our friends.  A great ending to a great CC school year ❤

This semester, the kiddos also participated in the Saints P.E. program.  My word, what a blessing that has been!! They have learned several different sports, made lots of new friends, and received tons of love and encouragement from the awesome coaches. Coach Rick and his team are the best!!

As many are wrapping up their school year, we will continue plugging along (albeit at a slower pace) over the summer, since we take time off during our beautiful Florida “winters”.  Ah… the beauty of homeschooling – we get to enjoy the best weather and take time off whenever we want 😉

Soon, we’ll be starting our 3rd official year of homeschooling… what a ride it has been! I am so thankful for the privilege of being Mama and teacher to the most amazing kiddos around ❤
